This was written after a very emotional break-up. Tell me what you think!.
Fire freezes to ice,
as pain turns to blood.
Holding onto life is a lost cause.
Freedom is a hidden lie,
Living in a cage of life, love is a lost emotion.
Darkness blackens my heart and soul,
all i can do is cry and cry.
Blood and tears tumble down my cheeks.
I hold these roses close,
the thorns prick my fingers
but like my tears...I feel nothing.
