Saying goodbye
Tell me what it will take
To make you understand,
I try to explain it
But don't know if I can.

I've tried to get it through to you
I'm not going to stay,
You think it's so impossible
But I've slowly slipped away.

What I'm trying to say to you
Is in this time and place,
Right here and right now
Face to face
This is goodbye.
