A sensory desription of being hungry at a fair/carnival
Salivating,
Stomach grumbles
My nose senses,
Sustenance nearby
I want food.

Surrounded,
People scramble
Vendors Calling,
"Over Here!"
I ignore them.

Straining,
catching bearings
My head pounding,
music blaring
I press on.

Sweating,
wiping forehead
Children Screaming,
running around
I feel sick.

Suddenly,
sprinting forward
My stomach hurting,
even more
I found food.

Searching,
rather frantic
Legs buckling,
wallet drops
I grab money.

Standing,
so excited
My hand shaking,
order food
I grow impatient.

Starving,
shifting weight
Licking lips,
eyes widen
I see food.

Sustenance,
at last
I devour eagerly,
nothing left
I am satiated.
