The style is good. It is easy to read, and that in turn brings your ideas more fluidly to the surface for the reader to understand.

The only thing I would point out is, when writing an Essay, I was taught to have in-text referencing. When you use a quote, or paraphrase, have the authors last name and year it was said/written/etc..

Example:

Well educated people can be more useful to their communities, and they are more able to be self-sufficient citizens, to take better care of themselves and others, to make better choices and develop healthier habits (Bjornson, 2013)

Also .... "some of the most evil and selfish people are extremely intelligent and well-educated." Maybe a reference here to show who you are referring to and what source had this information.



I am in Australia however, so our education system may differ from yours in that retrospect.

If that is the case, then I find this to be an interesting topic and would be open to reading a more in-depth and longer Essay about it.
