I like the thing cause I may be relating in significant ways, yet I try to fool myself into believing otherwise. I wonder how you may be thinking everyone must go, intriguing, really would like to know. Beliefs trip me out. I actually don't believe in the fiery blaster, but I do see the power behing the beliefs.

Kids grown and becoming a bore. Their suggestions speak of their love for a dear mom. You don't want to hear too much, shutting them down. Oh heck, they must love you sincerely dear. I think things could be worse, like them not caring. Just pat em on the head and send em off, not out of your life. That might be too much.

The story line of making statements and speaking doubts, ottering answers to others and to self, ending with suicidal contemplation. Dark stuff. I like the positivity early in the poem. The string pulling is a bummer for you. Cut the string pullers out in other ways, many possible besides suicidal ideation. The depth of your feelings hit me as real unlike other poems I have read. You seem to be the real deal. Be real without the negative contemplation. The world needs the depth of thought you portray.
