I was born in the country I am now living in, however, my friend's parents are still Hindu, and they are from India. Although I live in the Bible Belt, he is hindu and a vegetarian. I have subtly addressed him about this and he says he is a christian, which is kinda weird.
I love this poem because you can genuinely feel the passion put into it. If you can sense the feeling in the poet's word and see into the heart of that person then it is a well-written poem. There are two problems, however. One is simply the rhythm. I would have raised my review if you had kept the rhyme and syllable count consistent throughout the whole poem. Also, some verses do not make sense. (i.e. the last stanza "This endless winter we have caused./ But it will end one day." It is an unfinished idea that would have made much more sensse if it had been changed. It is a very good piece that could be made better with some simple changes.
