Pretty sweet. I liked it. Very well done, especially with the descriptions. I loved the second stanza, and how the sorceror himself isn't like the ones you normally read about--the dragon-friendly ones, anyway. The beginning starts off as past-tense with the rest going back and forth between present and past, however. Still, excellent job!
I absolutely loved this! I could taste each bite of chocolate and feel the fillings explode in my mouth. Very few people know how to write like this, and I applaud you for it. Even now my mouth is watering, and I'm considering running to the store to pick up GOOD chocolate. I am, and always will be, a chocoholic, so thank you for this wonderful piece of work.
