I will eventually share this when I get extra time on my hands. I think Writing.com is a great site to express ourselves through writing and many should have the opportunity to experience it. I've highly recommended it to several of my friends who enjoy writing and are looking to show their work off to others.
The ghost of love can be a harsh one indeed. No matter what the circumstances are there will always be that one, that will never leave. There are some loves that won't leave a trace left in our minds..but then there are those which conflict us. This poem does an immaculate job on describing those that have left their mark.
The title made it sound like a poem. Honestly, I was hoping for this to be poetry :c I really like how it turned out though..and the end. Its a cliffhanger. Cannot get better then cliffhangers! Kudos. I find this very interesting to read. I hope to see more of your work in the future
The bullet tore through her forehead and sent her sprawling through the window behind her and to the pavement. He turned the gun back down to the suit and put two in his chest.
He tucked the pistol in his jacket and looked out the broken window, at a world he no longer recognized or understood. He lowered himself from the window and stepped off into the night, not quite sure where he was headed.
This is rather intruiging...though i did not get to finish it quite yet. I will. Theres just something about the supernatural that draws us in, most are fearful but then there are those who are curious. Sometimes curiosity gets into trouble though :s Anyways..very well written. I will continue reading as soon as I can! Bravo c:
Later I was let go, and put on my way
With my hands covered in black, to remind me of my pain
Stuck at my home, writing without hinder
I told my story about the time I had been faced by winter
possibly one of the very best verses in a poem i have ever come across. very emotional. ♥
