I like it; it's short but it really has this in-depth meaning I didn't quite get the first time I read it. It also made me think, which in my opinion is good.

Your rhyme scheme adds a thoughtful touch, giving it a nice rhythmy feel, and in my opinion, if read aloud it could be put to some tune as you speak it.
