Hi Andrea,
I found this piece of work very enlightening, you have expressed the pain that you feel very well, the rhythm breaks are almost like sobs, I do not suffer from depression but this goes a long way to helping me understand my friends who do. I get the impression from this that you go on even though your thoughts are:-

today is anything but fun, hard to open my eyes
to see what is in front of me... today I just want to fall.

you are not going to let yourself fall.

a very touching poem.
