Well this is a poem for the strong hearted. Just like everyday life we need to think of our long term goals and not just of our instant rewards. It is such a very hard thing to do, but in the long run we will be rewarded with more then we could of possibly enjoyed during life.

Well I am also a newbie so I do not know if I have a place or better yet two legs to stand on giving you a review. Your poetry is very similar to mine. Deep and straight to the point. I completely connect with the message you are conveying with your words, Internal conflict. The old man vs. himself proverb. I liked it I just wished that you would of told us what this good versus bad conflict was coming from. or what feelings,thoughts,or actions were causing you to be stuck at a crossroad.
