Gamer/writer/gamer. Sitting on top of...gee, about 3000 pages of unpublished work? I should get to work on getting those out - but before I do, I want to make sure I'm absolutely ready. Can't fall flat on my face from the first step, now can I?
Type of Writer
Adventure/Suspense novels (ha), with a large order of COMEDY. Things are always funnier if you capitalize them.
Writing Style
To paraphrase Singin' in the Rain, "Make 'em laugh." Plenty of comedy, but lots of dynamic events vis a vis the plot.
Interests
I've been playing video games since I was four. 'Nuff said.
Favorite Books
The Animorphs series got me hooked on stories when I was a kid, and they're still a huge influence on me today. More recently, I read Battle Royale, which has to be the best book ever about students hunting each other.
Favorite Authors
K.A. Applegate, no surprises there. Stephen King's pretty cool, even if I've barely scratched the surface of his work. Oh, and I can't forget Carl Hiaasen - his book Hoot is near and dear to me...plus it's got owls, which is an instant win.
