Summary of this Book...
There are four novellas in this book. “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption,” in which an unjustly imprisoned convict deals with prison life especially guard brutality and other inmates who target him. As years go by he finds ways to survive and even get revenge. Using his banking knowledge and understanding of how government agencies work he is able to exact his revenge in unexpected ways.

"Apt Pupil" takes the reader on a suspenseful adventure with two main characters who tolerate each other because both of them have secrets. Both characters are afraid the other will expose their secrets.

“The Body,” four young boys plunge into a quest to fine something they are very interested in seeing. As they travel from their homes to their destination they come deal with life, death, and eventually face their immortality when other boys arrive.

“The Breathing Method.” is about a woman who is determined to succeed even though she is disgraced because of public opinion possibly being placed on her and what they perceive about her and her situation. She works to prepare for an important event and almost succeeds but things change quickly and it seems she is thwarted.

This type of Book is good for...
Readers who enjoy shorter stories compared to a novel will enjoy reading about characters who have surprising ideas and out comes to their efforts to implement their ideas.
I especially liked...
I enjoyed reading all of the stories but the last one seemed to me to be a bit less interesting.
I didn't like...
It's difficult to dislike these stories. The last story didn't hold my attention as strongly as the other three stories.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
I wanted to find another Stephen King book to read.
This Book made me feel...
I felt like I got to know the characters, their situation, and had accompanied they in the story.
The n/a of this Book...
The variety of interesting characters and their stories kept me reading until the end,
I recommend this Book because...
If a reader likes the writing style, stories, and characters that Stephen King writes about, then these four novellas will keep them happily reading for hours.
I don't recommend this Book because...
Depending on how squeamish a reader is and if they enjoy dark stories or somewhat dark stories these novellas might not be a good choice, but if you can start with the first story you I believe will be safe and them maybe enjoy the other stories.
Further Comments...
The variety and length of the stories were wonderful. I enjoyed spending time with the characters and learning about their adventures.
