A fun book for a girl who likes to play basketball (or other sports) and still likes to be a girlie-girl! It also has a glossary of basketball words and expression in the back of the book.

Esme` Ragi Codell is a school librarian and lives in Chicago. She has written other books plus is the found of a children's lit website, www.planetesme.com

The illustrator is Jennifer Plecas who lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her family. She also has illustrated many other children's books.

I's a fun book and not too wordy, perhaps because it rhymes.
