Justin and Mae get thrown together by chance and have to try and solve a case of serial murders that seem to stem back to a religious cult. Justin's job is to hunt down cults and disband them, while Mae is the highest form of soldier for the RUNA (Republic of United North America).

Someone who likes fantasy and sci-fi mixed together, in this case mythology and futuristic sci-fi elements.

I enjoyed the mix of futuristic sci-fi elements with mythology. It was a combination that worked really well with how it was presented.

There was a lot of focus on the relationship between two of the main characters and it got a bit much at times.

Read the next one, even though it won't be out for quite a while.
