This season of the series involves the arrival of journalist, Daniel Parish and his relationship with Laura Timmins. The Pratt sisters have a lot of drama going on and Thomas Brown is married to Miss Margaret.

I love this series which is set in the late 1800's in England.

anyone who enjoys a good, heartwarming drama.

the character of Thomas Brown. He makes me howl with laughter. I also like Miss Lane's son, Sydney as he reminds me of my father. Queenie is a favorite too.

like I was transported. I love it. I may have to get it.

is outstanding. I started watching becasue I was looking at what Brendan Coyle had done before Downton Abbey. He is marvelous as Robert Timmins.

it is a lovely bit of storytelling. I love the characters. They are funny and sad and just lovely.

This sure beats most of the stuff on American television with a stick.
