Summary of this Book...
Body-snatching aliens called "souls" have taken over the world. One soul, Wanderer, is inserted into the body of Melanie, a human who had somehow managed to escape capture along with other rebel groups.

In most situations, the souls take complete control of the host's mind and memories, however, Wanderer finds that Melanie is able to fight her control in order to protect information about the humans she loves, including her boyfriend Jared and her brother Jamie.

Wanderer, under Melanie's influence, begins a journey to find Jamie and Jared, who she has fallen in love with through Melanie's memories.

It's kinda hard to explain, but it's really great.
This type of Book is good for...
Stephanie Meyer has called this book "science fiction for people who don't like science fiction". This book is great for... well, EVERYONE! It is science fiction, but it has romance, adventure, EVERYTHING!
I especially liked...
I really like the relationship between Wanderer and Melanie. At the beginning they hate each other. As the story progresses, their relationship changes a lot. In the end, they are like sisters. It's nice to see that transition.
I didn't like...
The book is kinda long. It's totally worth it in the end, but it takes awhile to get through it all. It's got so much story within it's 600+ pages that it could have almost been made into two books.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
This book should be made into a movie. The descriptions of events, characters, places are so vivid that I could almost see things happening. I wanted to go see a movie of it!
This Book made me feel...
It really made me think about the human race; how brutal and cruel humans could be, which made me feel kind of ashamed, and, on the other side of the spectrum, how kind and compassionate we can be, which made me feel happy!
The author of this Book...
Stephanie Meyer is also the author of the Twilight books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn). All of her books are AWESOME!
I recommend this Book because...
It's not just sci-fi, or romance, or adventure. It's all of those rolled into one and topped with a good dose of philosophy.
