This is a story of love and family. Set in India, family gathers from all across the world for the arranged marriage of an only daughter. There are a few problems along the way, and one slightly dark subplot, but overall it is a very bright celebratory movie. :)

It is sweet and good for laughs.

The images and music are bright and colorful.

Watch it one more time before I returned it to the rental store...and then buy it. :)

I'm not familiar with any of the actors, but the casting was good. :)

It is beautiful and inspires happiness. :)

It is subtitled, but the characters also speak English a good deal, so those of you who usually avoid foreign films for this reason have little excuse. :)

The R rating must be soley based on language (one character uses MF on several occaisions; it is not a steamy movie.
