Summary of this Book...
Ellie is a young woman who is fat. She is obsessed with the fact that she is fat so she hires a man from an escort service to be her date to visit her crazy relatives. Soon after the visit her uncle dies leaving her and her new ‘fiancĂ©’ everything if he can write a book and she can lose 60 pounds in the next 6 months. Ellie is sarcastic and funny. This book even has a hidden treasure they have to find within the 6 months
I especially liked...
I really liked the turns this book took. The book was unusual and original. The characters were interesting and did not seem one-dimensional. The crazy family is a hoot too.
The author of this Book...
She does a great job at writing each character with their own voice. From the crazy uncle, to the wanna be model, to the psycho adults, she manages to keep them as individuals.
I recommend this Book because...
I think this is a really good fast read that does not take too much brainpower in the middle of the workweek. I can sit down, enjoy, and laugh.
