I'm a 40 something single mom to a pre-schooler, a recent divorcee and "lab rat" that has a deep desire to write the masterpiece that has been aching for years to break out and stretch it's wings. I've always been a bit of a late bloomer and I hope that this is the perfect avenue to let my inner author finally breathe. I've dabbled in poetry and short stories off and on throughout the years, but I know there's something bigger and better waiting patiently to be written. I've blamed writer's block and a busy schedule as the reasons for my silence, but it's time for me to say what I need to say. So, here we go...I think.
