Killer Clowns!!!!
Nightmare Clowns 11/28/04
Part 1

“Honey, me and your father are leaving for the movie.”
“Okay mom, have a good time,” Robert replied, shutting down his computer, and switching on his TV. “ attack of the googly clowns from outer space” was premiering on the SCI-FI channel. “ hey mom…..”
“yes dear?”
“ what are you guys going to see?”
“ we are seeing, pip le moot, its French.”
“oh boy, dad have fun.”
“ sure will,” said his dad chuckling.
Rob heard the door creak shut downstairs, and the roaring engine of their corvette starting. It was 9:37, and his parents would arrive home at 12:37.
“ damn its getting chilly,” he said closing his window, outside leaves blew in the raging wind. It would be a long night home alone. He sat back down, suddenly, he heard a crash downstairs. He looked to the right and saw a glimpse of something run past his doorway. The thing stopped around the corner. He could see its shadow, in its hand, a knife. Robert jumped up and slammed his door shut, locking it. He turned towards the window, outside a clown peeked through, its jagged teeth gleaming in the moonlight. Rob tried to scream, but it came out as a whisper “ hel…..help.” he closed his eyes and prayed.

Mark Walters awoke from a pleasant dream about him and his girlfriend, with Sgt. Ramsey screaming in his ear.
“ DAMN IT WALTERS, GET YOUR ASS UP,” the large dark skinned man yelled.
“ huh….. Whu.. What’s up sarge?” he looked down at his desk only to find a new folder. The folder read “ DEATH # 7 AND COUNTING.”
“ here’s your new case, tom will be assisting you.”
“ okay sir, ill get right on it.”
“ you bet your ass you will,” the Sgt. Strode out the door. Tom walked in, “ hey mark,” he said holding out his hand. They shook. Tom sat down, “ so, did you look through the folder yet?”
“no I just received it from….”
“ Ramsey?”
“ yea that’s his name,” mark replied, skimming through the files in the folder.
“ oh, you just got it, well ill give you a day to look through it and tomorrow well start.”
“ sure that sounds reasonable enough.” tom shifted his baseball cap and left the room. Mark pulled out a cigarette, and lit it.

Tom picked Mark up at 12:00 noon the next day. He had to wake Mark up, he hadn’t had much sleep the last few months because of his divorce from the love of his life. Three days later his dog, Spot, died.
“ okay mark, were going to the house of one of the victims, the Gonzalez home. Their only son was murdered.
“ wow, poor people, its hard losing a loved one,” mark said. Tom looked over at him, he was looking out the window, his hair was greasy and dirty, his shirt ripped and torn.
“ what’s up Mark, you don’t look good?”
“ oh….. Well I just got divorced.”
“ im sor-”
“ eleven years down the drain, she got the house, and custody of the kids.”
“ I’m sorry.”
“ don’t be, its my fault. I was a terrible father and husband.”
“ oh, here we are, 12312 Maple street. By the looks of the house, this guy must be pretty damn wealthy.”

Tom questioned the parents of Robert, the victim, while Mark waited by the car. He was smoking a cigarette watching people walking by. He turned his gaze to the second story window, Roberts bed room window. He blinked and saw that now, a figure was standing there. It was a clown.
“ what the hell…..” he said, walking towards the front door.
“ what is it Mark?” said Tom turning to see what it was. Mark, now running, ran through the front door to the bedroom. He took his gun from his holster, it was a 38. Chief special. He never had to use the hand gun, except for target practice. Tom told the parents to stay outside as he followed mark.
“ what’s going on Ma-” he was interrupted.
“ shhh….” Mark replied. Tom took his gun from his holster. “ you ready?”
“ sure I guess….” Mark turned the door knob as Tom readied his gun. The door creaked open.
“ you got to be kidding me……”

“ you got to be kidding me….” said Mark entering the room. “ some one was in here, I saw some one. He or she was looking through the window at me.” he saw that the window was wide open. “ damn must have jumped.”
“ Mr. And Mrs. Gonzalez are down there, they would have hollered to us,” Tom said looking out the window. “ come on, we better see if their ok.”

Part 2

Turns out they weren’t ok, they were dead. Both husband and wife, throats slit. Now back at the station, Ramsey was furious. “ damn it Mark, just for once can you not fuck up!”
“ what do you want me to do. I saw a guy upstairs looking out at me, a clown! It was a clown. I went up and it wasn’t there. Go back down stairs and they’re dead.”
“ he’s telling the truth sir, there’s nothing we could-”
“ Shut the fuck up Tom, I don’t give a shit.” Ramsey said, cutting Tom off.
“ fine whatever!”
“ hey little man, you don’t yell at me! Get out, your off the case. Walters, your new partner will be Susan.”
“ Please sir,” Tom pleaded.
“ Get out Tom! Your done!” Ramsey screamed, his booming voice echoed through the station hallways.
“ come on Ramsey, give the kid a break,” mark said. Ramsey gave Mark the coldest stare, and Mark backed away without saying another word. Tom left his gun and badge and headed home.

Tom had went home that day, the day of his firing, and had called up an old buddy from college. This buddy of his was a drug dealer, and he had been for a good five years. Tom had never turned him in though, they had a strong relationship. He had asked this friend, his name was Jim Evans, for a deal. Evans showed up the next day with a bag of marijuana.

Mark had been hit hard, emotionally, after Tom had been fired. He was going through many problems and Tom leaving had been a major one. He would never see Tom again after that, see him alive that is…..

Thomas J. Bell died on June 8th, 2005. The funeral was held on the 10th. 3 days after the funeral, a woman by the name of Susan had came by the station to see Mark. Mark had recognized her from the funeral, It was Tom’s sister.
“ Hi, I’m your new partner,” she said stretching out her hand.”
“ nice to meet you Mrs…”
“ Ms. Susan Bell. I’m Tom’s sister.”
“ Yes, I remembered you. I’m sorry.”
“ All things must pass.”
“ Its terrible isn’t it?”
“ sure is….”
“ sit down, ill tell you about the case. Well get started tomorrow.”
