Bound by Immortality

As he looked into her eyes,
He could see the great surprise,
As his teeth sank into her neck.

A moments gasp of pain,
Then she fell limp as he drained,
Her warm and sweet blood,
As it flowed freely.

Then he left her there to die,
As he faded into the sky,
She'd be back again soon.

Little did she know,
That through the pain and all the hurt,
That she would one day be,
With him as a friend,
Bound by immortality.
