One day when I was feeling rather alone...
Frozen Rose

Although her inner beauty always does shine through,
And her outward confidence offers no trace of clue,
It doesn’t mean that she has forgot,
That an outer beauty she is not.

While Cinderella dances,
And Snow White receives a kiss,
She only dreams romances,
Not knowing what to miss.

The harvest moon fills lover’s skies,
Shining light on joyful pairs,
But she just utters mournful cries,
Lost deep within her own despairs.

She’s never known what love is,
Lost in her family’s art,
Deceitfulness their law is,
And she numbly plays the part.

Will she find what she desires?
To know what lovers know?
She has not what it requires,
For her heart is cold as snow.
