A rather bloody poem expressing my hate for things

Her blade ripped through the soft flesh of her enemies
With each spirit released she felt the age old vengeance being filled
A stopped heart was a another timeless promise fulfilled
She couldn't stop now, not when she finally had the chance
To avenge the mindless slaughter committed by, by them
no one would live, no one.

She was pregnant, about to have a new baby
Her blood sprayed the wall and fell on her childrens faces
the killer only grinned

A young boy peered around a corner to see what was going on
and was face to face with bloody steel sharpness
he looked up and stared at the horrible symbol of pain
Hello, it said, and then that cold blade bathed itself in the boys neck

The small girl got up with a start at a scream outside
she pulled the covers over her head to protect her
it was a blessing-
she didn't have to see her death coming for her
there was only an end.

What a massacre, a joyous day to remember
in the bowels of history for ever
and the blood was spilled in needless pain
for suffering was its only intent
and suffering it acheived.
