The lies they tell us about the All-American person are revealed...
Tall and pretty,
Blonde with blue eyes.
These are the
All-American lies.

They tell us that "PERFECT"
Is what we must be.
But to be All-American
Is just to be free.

Some people have a twisted sense of freedom:
Smoking crack and weed,
And committing felony crimes.
They do this and never take heed
To the rough times,
That they only make rougher,
For themselves and others.

"All-American" is what they declare today.
But is the All-American label
Worth the prices we must pay?
