The Virus Talks

Wakee, Wakee, Bob. it's time to blow your nose.
Huh? What's going on? Who are you?
Your friendly, insidious nose and sinus virus.
When did you get here? I felt pretty good last night.
I floated in while you were sleeping.
I can't be sick. I have to go to work.
Not today, bud, or tomorrow, in fact, not for the next two weeks.
Wait a minute, viruses can't talk.
I'm talking to you right now, your nose is running, your lungs are congested, and wait for the coughing, it will be tremendous.
Ha-ha! I have medicine that will knock you out.
Give it your best shot.
I'm going to get the NyQuil, you'll see.
I'll come with you but that won't work.
Are you sure you're not the 24-hour bug?
Nope. Two full weeks, that is, if you can sleep and eat which I doubt. Could be a bit longer.
I can't afford to be sick.
Too late for that, I'm already here.
How about Alka-Seltzer?
Nope.
How about a prescription with penicillin?
Not a chance, everyone knows you can't kill a virus. All you can do is wait me out.
Crap!
