Feudal Cathedral

Like flesh of a long-dead bard,
An ancient conclave crumbles,
A squalid mossy basilica,
Eroded by the tide of time.
Lapidary of a musty sanctuary,
Once a Goliath of worship.
Now freckled with decay,
Illegitimate, lifeless, and still.
