Artwashing = Artists 'whitewashing' issues. Whether out of apathy or fear?

Can the Writing.com community discuss contemporary issues in a non-conforming way? This web-site is heavily American and therefore heavily White, Middle-class, Christian. Not everyone here falls into that broad category.

And those that do? They don't necessarily agree with other members who comfortably fit the stereotype.

This forum is for Dissenters.
