Not your typical monster under the bed.
The real monsters aren't the ones underneath our beds. The real monsters don't have fur or claws, nor sharp teeth. The real monsters live inside our heads. Dictating everything we do, say, feel, anything really. That's why we stopped checking for monsters in our closets and under our beds. The scary thing about them is we can't control them. They make some depressed, tired or even suicidal. Regardless, it's scary. The monsters telling us we're never enough. They consistently push you and then one day they push you over the edge and destroy you. You don't feel anything. You become numb. There's no happiness, colour, or any feelings at all. You just want to die. Those are the real monsters. They are in your head not under your bed or in your closet. You're your own monster.
