A man that loves a woman and finds her to be in his dreams
Minutes, hours, days or years
I want to battle all your fears.
No matter, be they big or small
I shall never let you fall.

Some nights when I'm alone on my bed
my conscious hangs only by a thread.
I fall into my dreams where I search for you
wishing that I would never spoil the view
of a beautiful girl
with glimmering eyes as bright as pearl.

As our bodies touch
I'm reminded of how I am the car and you are my clutch.
Now this almost seems real
with your kiss on my cheek and your hand in mine.
If only this was real
If only you were mine

I hate seeing you in vain
going through all this unnecessary pain
But I guess that's how we learn
so that one day your life you may earn

Now my dreams they fade away.
If only a way that I could stay
but now your gone
and suddenly... This feels wrong
As the living world has become my enemy
because in my dreams I wish to stay.
