A ballad for your loved one.
Thine eyes are clear as star-lit waters,
  A window to thy soul.

The fire envies thy passioned warmth,
  To win thine heart my goal.

When autumns leaves are coarse and brown,
  When winter's bite is near,

Thou comfort me as roaring flame,
  Thoust here, I'll never fear.
