Ravings about lost but lingering love, that was so good.

There is one woman, who attracted me well.
It's her words that drew me, they were just swell.
The day that I met her, my eyes agreed,
then my heart came along, it did accede.

Then  very slowly, to my chagrin,
I never found out, who was within.
Her vocabulary lacked, the words to share,
which left me wondering, did she really care?

The many conversations, that I was left out,
were never shared what, they were all about.
The frustration I felt, about the secrets she kept,
made me feel not worthy, for her to accept.

I asked her to leave, and she didn't want to know,
why I loved her so, but wanted her to go.
I still love her, but she kept me in the cold.
I don't understand, why she didn't want to be told.

It's growth I enjoy, learning new things.
She didn't want to come, and grow new wings.
I think of her often, and the good that we had.
If we'd have stayed together, I'd have gone raving mad.
