homeless skater
I’m a lost boy in a very big world. Just turned 13 sometime within the past couple months. I had a very bad living style with my folks. I ran. I Lived on the streets, in the parks, in alley ways, and even in construction sites. The people that knew me didn’t like me and the people that didn’t know me, well, didn’t like me either. I only have one friend which is my paper turtle. There were no other kids my age to run around and play with or to joke with. So, I made a friend. One I could trust with my secrets. Only means of transportation for a run away like me was my skateboard that I like to try tricks on. Skateboarding is a bridge sport. I say bridge because bridges lead to new opportunities, a new life. I hope to be really good soon but I don’t have many places to skate because there is no skate park around. There is one that is 3 or 4 hours away but I don’t have a ride. I don’t trust people enough to hitchhike. The streets are my skate park. Only problem is that skating is illegal for no good reason. I’ve been arrested because I was in a church parking lot skating on private property. Nobody was there being bothered so why’d they bother me. I don’t know where I will end up in life. But my dreams are high and hopes are big. I only pray to god that he has a little room left for a little dirty kid in his heart.
