DREAM ( NO. 1 )

He lay in deep slumber's embrace,
But his mind did subconsciouslay race,
Hopping from his past to the future,
Where his fond hopes may rupture.

He walked the lonely path all alone,
He was also desirous to deeply atone,
Whenever his mind led him astray,
As his actions did sometimes betray.

He did cautiously in the future peep,
Where bright future lay in a heap,
Where all will be well and rosy,
And life will at last be very cosy.
