A poem about separation.
When I close my eyes I can still smell you

You are engraved into my heart

Sometimes I swear that I can still feel you

Like we have never been apart

I wake with an unbearable need to hear you

Whisper softly that you're mine

And would give anything just to touch you

Just to hold you one last time
