A poem written mostly for children about some of the characteristics of snow.
It’s so wonderful to watch as it falls from the sky above the cold, cold town.
Just as impressive to see when it makes a big blanket all across the ground.
It is both cold and wet, but still it gives pleasure to many.
The skiing and the sleigh riding provide us with joyous times a plenty.
Its flakes are frosty but can quickly turn into slippery slush.
Should wear your protective boots when out, to prevent falling in its gush.
We all love to see it come; it gives our hearts a warm shinny glow.
But before winter is over, we can hardly wait to see it go.
