Wrote this to try and relieve some very deep emotions.
Heart broken, heart open.
Chest cavity breached open.
Insensitive and cold,
Lacking a pulse,
Blood makes it way through and through.
No smile, no laughter.
No frown, no gripe.
Back against the wall,
Head cocked back off to the side.
Limbs left limp.
No will, no drive.
Nothingness and stillness.
No life in the eyes.
What keeps this creature alive?
