The dead one

I wish someone would see,
All the pain inside of me.
I wish someone would care,
Enough to see it’s there.
See the great big hole in my heart,
And realize how much it is tearing me apart.
See that the smiles and laughs are fake,
One person is all it would take.
One person I didn’t have to ask or tell.
Someone who just knew me that well.
Well enough to see that I’m living in hell.
If only they knew how one person could change my life.
But would they even care?
None of them care enough to see,
To see all the hurt inside me.
How it kills me every day,
How I just wish the world away.
How badly I wish I was gone,
Not like anyone would care it I wasn’t there,
No one would notice if I was gone,
I would just be the dead one.
