What should the person do? Ask or keep silent?
Kyrielle

Bridled Passions

Release my poor heart. Let it beat
wild, strong and free. When you caress
my hand with a touch so discreet,
I bridle passions I possess.

Your bewitching smile makes me weak.
But loving words I must suppress.
Would I lose you if I misspeak?
I bridle passions I possess.

Tell me where I am in your heart
because now, my life is a mess.
I see your flirting as cruel art.
I bridle passions I possess.

Would I be better if you went
away? I’d have naught to confess.
but memories would soon torment.
I bridle passions I possess.

A kyrielle is a poem that must have 8 syllables per line, be written in quatrains and use the last line of the first stanza as the last line of every stanza.
