its all the things he did to her that tore her apart
he hurt you, and he made you cry
you came to me wanting to die
i saw the pain upon ur face
no longer filled with poise and grace
the pain surrounded you like a wave
of unsettled sand
convinced that you will be in your grave
with no friendly loving hand
it killed me to see all the pain
that one could cause
you screamed out his name
yet he still could not feel remorse
shadows over come you
but not like shelter from a storm
his hands were no longer loving, caring and warm
icy could was his touch
upon your skin it all became too much
you called me up after one nights bad dream
the wounds reopened as you said you awoke with a scream
the stroke of midnight had just passed
but the dead of the night shattered by uour cries of broken glass
i remember the feelings and what you said
i remember the feelings and what you said
i remember them as i lay in my bed
your heart was so broken that your thoughts poured from your head
you told me everything even how you wished you were dead
tears dampened my cheeks as i remember
the pain
we spoke about it for hours without even
mentioning his name
