A thousand nightly worries
Do I ever dream about.

A thousand mental wars
Do I ever wage.

A thousand beautiful yous
Do I ever see.

A thousand glorious deaths
Do I ever think of.

A thousand grotesque thoughts
Do I ever push away.

A thousand unknown reasons
Do I ever wish to hear.

A thousand of these and a thousand more
Do I ever face.
