a jealousy poem
When Naomi works on a project

She gets it done and then some.

Everything has to be perfect, what

I don’t understand is why, my poster

For the same class was done in two hours

And held together by tape, not two weeks

With everything is printed perfectly.

School is hard enough because I can never

Beat her at anything, or she will complain.

I work with Naomi too,

We are both a cashier, but now she

Is put on waitstaff because she is always

So happy and cheery to everyone.

Its like nothing has ever gone wrong

In her life, im stuck with the drama,

And she is there to try and help me

Out because she feels bad for me.

However when it comes to

Common sense, she has none.

Im the one with the street smarts

And Im the one who gets her

Through the day.

She is my best friend,

I love Naomi to pieces,

But is it nescary to always

Be one up-ing me? How

Much further can you push

Me before im gone for good.
