Giving up on life.
Beyond the clouds lie grassy noels
Where angels fly to free their souls
From pain and sadness brought by life
From heartaches that have caused them strife.
They once lived in a world so cold
Although they gave their best
The world did not return it though
And so they chose to rest.
For there is love above the clouds
Beneath the stars, beyond the shrouds
There are arms that open wide
When heaven's gates take them inside.
Their only means to ease the pain
Was end it all and start again.
Another tear they'll never shed
Of empty lives or hearts that bled.
Some say they were selfish
To leave their worlds behind
Though if anybody truly cared
Would their worlds have not been kind?
