A poem about a bitter teenage break-up. Written October 31, 2007
I would lay still forever,
If I could just hear your voice,
But if you can't say you want me,
Then you've left me with no choice-
No dignity,
No pride,
Wasted mascara,
And no where to hide.
All I knew was you,
All I knew were lies,
Now all I have is a broken heart,
And only myself to despise.
When we're apart,
I don't feel real,
But you don't even care,
How that makes me feel.
Words false,
But feelings true,
I want to move on,
But I can't forget about you.
Today sucks,
But yesterday was good,
I can't believe I surrendered my heart,
And everything for which I stood.
