I wrote this poem while in a depression episode.
He comes to me

When I least expect it

Luring me in

Hitting all the right nerves

Before I know it

I have taken a dive

To the darkest oblivion

As gray as the thunderous sky

Where I cannot see a soul.

I can't get out

I try, but a barrier sits

Between me and life

I become numb to everything

Love, hate, laughter

It doesn't matter

I see nothing but my own pain

Conjured up by this demon
