Its a poem that asks a rhetorical question.
You could probably say that this life is normal, but none can be as humble abd still be ready to rumble, just as many younstas come up in tha jungle. You know tha hood we call home where tha killas, ganstas, pimps, drug pushers, stars, whores, artists, and regular people roam. I can't say all tha bad is gone nor can ii be said all tha good is circumspect; however, what you can say is black males like me received neglect but it was in an different aspect than normally advocated. you see black males like me wonder when we're young, why doesn't my daddy want to be with me, because my momma is not the man and never will be; and later as we grow our hearts become sore so we don't love daddy anymore which only grows into hate by the time we understand our manhood fate. The gap between father and son has become so big that mending it is far beyond repair, so its to late for them to relate. So to understand a thugg, you should first understand the father of a thugg, which happens to be the streets and it shows no love; so then how could a black male like me have love when we really hate because its part of our nature which by far is our lowest feature.
Now picture tha life where survival is the only option, because to fail is to die; moreso in the spirit than body. Physical death is freedom for some, while spiritual death is prison for all. Picture the life of a dope fiend, where tha spirit has died and now tha soul is being tried, through vigor circumstantial pressures within this world. The spirit of a thugg ostracizes itself because of the hate which drives it throughout the cycle of life; this hate which was born long before the young thugg was not a chosen choice, but we as thuggs become the voice behind the hate given. Block out all ideas and thoughts you may have had before; for a thugg is not a skin color or race but it is the life you are born into, the life you are force to live out until the end. We are different in every aspect of a person here on this earth; however this fact doesn't make us the cream of the crop; we still deserve our prop instead of the stigmatize DROP!
