this is a memorial poem, written for my aunt Reba, in memory of my uncle Jack

When all the angels have flown away
And I find myself at Heaven's gate
With a God who loves me, tenderly
Home I've left, and home I'll be

When my time has come to rejoin forces
With Heavenly Spirit, in eternal rejoicing
And the Master smiles, and welcomes me
Home I've left, and home I'll be

When at last I make it, to my destination
And leave this world, with no hesitation
With all the treasures, that will set me free
Home I've left, and home I'll be

When I look upon you, just to watch you breathe
And my spirit comforts you, while you sleep
With all my heart, I will wait for thee
From the home I've left, in the home I'll be
