Apparently I like alliteration..and the letter w..but this is about giving up the fight.
Wearily I went walking where wolves wait
Withdrawn, without want and without warrant.
While a western wind whistled I worked my way
Worming along walls without windows
Wedging through wide white webs
Wondering and wandering and wasting
Weak from wrestling the world.

When my will went away
The wild weather waxed waves of warmth.
And wisdom waited
With words
