I wrote this for my mom
Who's always there
When you scratch your knee,
Bump your elbow
Or fall from a tree?

And who is the one
With a shoulder to lend,
Always giving advice
Or money to spend?

Isn't it her ears
That hear stories of woe,
Never once saying
"I told you so" ?

Who always loves you
More than any other,
Who can it be
Except your Mother?
