random poem about trying to express the pain by using metaphors and similes
The pain was like someone stabbing a knife into your back,
Slowly pushing it in, deeper, deeper,
Blood pouring out like a waterfall.
I can feel the hurt deep inside my stomach,
Smell the unwanted air,
Taste the blood coming from my nervously bitten lip,
Hear my heart beat, boom, boom, boom,
See the darkness from my closed eyelids.
Obscurity looks like a black
Open sky without the bright stars
To make you feel safe,
Like Stephen King's stories,
Being in the middle of a Kentucky town,
So dark and quiet, you can feel your heart in your ears.
The pain wasn't that intense.
Just knowing that you did it,
Makes you feel useless.
Alright, so maybe I'm over exaggerating,
That's what everyone says.
But that's only because everything happens to me,
Not them.
Blame the world, not yourself.
The beautiful knife-shaped world,
Wounding our lives,
Attacking us like an ant attacks a human.
So how do we get rid of this non-sense?
I'll jump off the side of the tilting world.
Or we can just find a better solution,
"Go to Sue! She'll think of something",
That's what they'll say.
Maybe, just maybe
Tomorrow won't seem so hard.
The harmless lion of a world
Will finally leave us alone.
Yeah, the world is after us all.
Y no podemos hacer nada,
Solo pensar en que todo es nuestra culpa.
Sit there and watch the world,
It's laughing.
Right in our faces.
And the pain,
It pumps through our blood.
And there's nothing we can do.
